So, Shaun is headed to Japan in a little over a month. Kira will be here
in approximately two weeks. And if i wasn't about to move to Texas, i
would leave the housing. GGGRRRR! Its like I'm living in an ant farm.
This place is bugging the crap out of me. If the roof isn't leaking and
water is every where, Its the ants or my neighbors leaving used condoms
on the sidewalk or letting they're trash blow all over my yard and get
me in trouble. Not to mention the vandalism.
There is a woman that lives next to me that is responsible for all
of the trash. I call her Malibu Barbie because here hair is blonde, her
face is painted on and her head is full of air. Her husband is deployed
and she is SUCH a trouble maker. She has parties almost every night. I
believe it is her that tore a hole in my lawn furniture and destroyed my
outside decorations. and there is no reason for it. I have NEVER said or
done anything unfriendly to this woman. I even say hello at the mail
box. Before i leave i would like to squeeze her head to see if it
deflates and collapses like a Barbie.
If it didn't mean my husband would be leaving me for a long time, I
would be thrilled to leave this poor excuse for a "neighborhood" Ant
hill is more like it.

We've received Shaun's first PDS (permanent duty station) he's Going to
Okinawa Japan. I'm real nervous about not living with him, but at least
I'll be with family I suppose.
Once he gets to said foreign country, he will have all kinds of on the
job training to complete before he can get authorization to take leave.
And seeing as he's not leaving until almost June, he will not be able to
make it to the family reunion in July.
However, as I'll be in Texas at the time and not in Japan, I will most
certainly be going. I may be bringing my room mate/best friend Kira as I
cannot very well be leaving her at my in-laws for a week. As for my
animals, I have no idea what I'll do. I'll think of something.
I was starting to feel a little better - getting used to the side
effects of metformin - and my doctor upped my dose to 850mg twice daily.
Ick. Oh well, supposedly this should help regulate everything in about 6
months.
I miss the snow. It wasn't here very long, but I liked it a lot.
Bye-bye snow!
