Tallon

This is tallon playing viciously with his squeaky hedge hog. I was
terrified to get him instead of the girly puppy I also liked because
small dogs are generally hard to house break and boys are worse about
it. But I decided I would have to stay on top of it because I LOVED his
personality. He's friendly and cuddly and playful and SOOOOO
intelligent. And has been a breeze to house break thus far. He wakes you
up to go outside! He's ten weeks old though so pretty much you have time
to throw on some clothing really fast and race him out side. I got
really lucky. He keeps me occupied so I don't think of icey cat too
much. I know he wasn't collected by animal control because the local
shelter would have scanned the chip in his neck and given me a call and
an email. And that hasn't happened. Shaun thinks he's road kill. I like
to hope that some old woman stole him and is feeding him well as apposed
to being smooshed to the road. :( originally I didn't think I was going
to get to go to the family reunion. First because its just a little too
inappropriate to leave kira at home with Shaun. And then because of
tallon. But those things have sorted themselves out. Kira's friend is
coming to visit for a week for 4th of July and apparently Chihuahuas are
small enough you put them in a travel carrier and take them as carry on.
So, ill be coming after all! Yay! Shaun has agreed to watch Dixie while
im gone.

Manikins

Yesterday Shaun Kira and I called the apartment to verify that we didn't
need a co-signer to move in, got the electricity in our name in the
apartment effective the 4th of June, got renters insurance (because
every one is looking to sue you!) and went to jc penny's and Wal-mart.
Bored and being the trouble makers kira and I are, we gave all the
manikins wedgies! The day before that we sat out by the side of the road
in plastic buckets filled with water (because it was hot) and ate
popsickles and threw water balloons at passing cars. No one can say
honestly that we aren't creative. :) Sadly, Icey-Cat has ran away and
probably been stolen. Never let your cat outside if he's nice. I prefer
this chain of events to been eaten by a dog or ran over by a car. Either
way he's gone :'(. Shaun is glad though. He hated the cats hair. :( I
don't think I'll get another cat they're too indifferent. But today
must be have your dog at Gail's house day. there are three other people
living here and all of them brought they're dogs home from leave with
them. I miss talking with family. I can't wait to have our phone and
Internet set up again so I can talk to family. Shoot me an email and
I'll send you my new address and home phone. Along with some pictures of
the new place. My coming to the family reunion depends on how quickly we
get our bonus to pay for a plane ticket and hotel stays and what ever.
Shaun, will not be able to make it this time. Its too close to his PCS.
I know when it is, but I don't actually know what we're doing. Are we
camping again or what?

Back at gails

Ick! We're back at gails house for 2 weeks while shaun's on leave because we cant exactly afford to go to texas like we had planned.
its not quite as bad as last time because gail doesnt live here any more. (she's running her motel in kansas.) It does however seem as hotter now than it did last time. only like 10 days left. then we'll be in our new house. yay! nothing new really has happened other than that. we've been going swimmig a lot. i've been using ear plugs but im sure i'll still get swimmers ear. its just what happens.
ps, mother, I bought that swim ear crap but i lost it. sorry.

Gretchin concert in 29!

Gretchin mack (Wilson) had a son. Lclp mack. Died in combat. Isn't that
sad? Anyway, the concert was great there was a 4 hour carnival before
hand and a free bbq and free snow cones, water and gatorade. I believe
there were also sodas and tea. There were just BOXES and boxes of food.
Trucks loaded full if ice and drinks. And then when the sun went down,
gretchin wilson played music and laughed with us. It was fun. She is not
a disappointment live. Possible better live than in her cd's. When we
got there at four pm not a lot of people were there. But by eight. The
whole of liberty field (a full size foot ball field) was ABSOLUTLY
packed. He he Shaun wishes he came.

We recently had a crisis Shaun wanted to spend one thousand dollars and
stay in a crappy rental only shauns phone can't be charged in the car
and kira suggested we go camping (kira colon cuz im so smart) which of
coarse is a very vacationy thing to do we're now in the dark driving to
wally world to pick kira up a tent ( because the thought of shareing a
pup tent with a married couple not sounding so good to me right now) we
wonder how the cat will take the news Parentheses kira colon if you
haven't realized by now I kira am typing for the ila-nator parentheses
thank you everyone for your help and support to everyone who we were
going to visit in Texas we will get up there we promise and so will Ila
and shauns crap . . . .ilas random talking . . . By kira are you
seriously doing that ..this will be are best blog ever ahh your gonna
write that ahhh crap your gonna write that to ...snort imma be quiet

Yesterday Kira and I went to jack in the box to order our usual  French fries and give the employees a hard time. We pulled up and as kira is the one good with funny voices she said in an Hindi accent,   "Hello, we would like a hot dog with chilli."   "I'm sorry, ma'am but we don't sell hot dogs."   "Okay, how about a hot dog with ketchup?"   "No, I'm sorry but we don't have hot dogs."   "How about with mustard?"   "Ma'am, We do not sell hot dogs at Jack in the Box."   "Just the bun then?"     The manager came on and was very angry, which of course ended our fun. And she burned our French fries. But it was fun none the less.

"No blog title"

So, I have been taking metformin for about... 2 months now. Im starting
to feel better regularly since my dosage was upped by 700mg daily. My
stomach bothers me from time to time. But its not horrible. I did
however a randomly vomit tonight. It was kind of cool. I was walking
Dixie and just "bleh!" on the ground. He he. Dixie ate it YUCKIE! I seem
to be "regulating" nicely. On the day I would have ovulated had I been
ovulating my cycle restarted because of kira's presence here. She made
fun of me about it and her's started the same day. Hahaha! There is a
chance that regardless of treatments I still won't ovulate on my own and
will require the assistance of a fertility drug like clomid. Which of
course at my age almost guarantees the conception of multiples. 2-4 is
likely. We have been swimming as often as we can lately. I was
crispified recently.

Corrections

Shaun would like everyone to know that he did not in fact fall asleep at
the wheel I was just being paranoid that he would. And that he gave his
shift up early when he was tired. :) men are so touchy.

Absurdity

I was recently watching this Disney movie called "taking 5." In this
movie these teens kidnap a band and then get them to play at their high
school. At the end, the parents comeback from vacation and realize there
were a bunch of boys in the house. They get super mad and follow them to
the school (because their daughter stole the car). Once they get there
everything is fine. They just watch the performance and everyone goes
home happy. Except the older sister who goes on tour with the band.
Now, what the heck kind of parents go on vacation and come home to find
a house full of 18 year old boys with your 15 year old daughter - watch
her steal the car and then once you find her say, "Oh, its okay. Those
boys are rock stars." Holy crap! Who in the world does that? No one.
Only Disney could distort the family image in such a way that the
parents are morons and the children can just run amuck doing what ever
takes their fancy with no consiquences.
But on a slightly more realistic note, im nervous about the move. We're
hiring a cleaner so I don't have to worry about that. But apparently the
movers are grumpy. So I need to make them breakfast or lunch. Supposedly
this makes them happy and nice to your stuff.
In about a week I'll need to get rid of some furniture. Shaun says we
can buy a sledge hammer and bust the couch (the one I hate) in a million
pieces thus making it possible to get it out the door. Or vacuum up
depending on how carried away I get.
So, Shaun gets a 2 week vacation before he has to go to Japan for 2
years. On our way out of California we are going to stop by oceanside
and see the beach. Then visit with Tom and Marie before we head to
Texas.
We will not be pulling a 24 hr drive again. That was awful last time.
I've never been more scared. Not being able to sleep because Shaun kept
falling asleep at the wheel. And then having to drive for hours after
that. This will not be happening again. No, no, no.
Once we get into Texas, we're going to say hi to my to my family. Then
head into Houston to receive our crap from TMO. Then we can relax a
little. It will be good for Shaun. He's tired.

Shopping in yucca.. Again.

So, kira got here safely. She is adjusting the boring lifestyle as well.
At first she woke up and was like, "im late for work!" because we were
always going to sleep late. :) but now we're doing things and fighting
the boredom. Swimming tanning and grooming. And the occasional trips
outside with the dog to swing. And now its off to the thrift store to
smell the odd combination of cats and formaldehyde.
